GREENSBURG — In what proved to be their final track meet of the region season, on May 3 Marion County competed in the Carl Deaton Classic, with the boys finishing 13th (with 8 points) out of the 13 participating teams, while the girls’ program finished fifth (with 62), just one point behind Taylor County in fourth place and four behind LaRue County in third.

Despite being rained out for most of the week, the Marion County Knights still had the opportunity to defend a bit of their history last weekend.
