Following are excerpts of daily activities reported by the Greene Couty sheriff’s office:. Wednesday, May 1: At 10:57 am a deputy investigated a complaint of criminal mischief in the 600 block of S. 15th St in Grand Junction. Leeroy Steadman, 54, of Grand Junction was arrested on an arrest warrant for assault.* At 4:46 pm a deputy investigated a driving complaint on N. Elm St in Jefferson. Nicolas Balderas, 61, of Jefferson was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence*. At 5:03 pm a deputy assisted with a cow out on 235th St near Quint Ave east of Jefferson.

Veterinarian supplier moves to Grimes, doubles in size
An international distributor of veterinarian supplies has moved its Des Moines metro offices from Urbandale to Grimes, doubling its size in the process. Covetrus new offices will be at 400 S.E. 41st St. in Grimes, where it is leasing space in a new facility owned by R&R Realty Group of West Des Moines.
