Teachers association presents current proposals
TEWKSBURY — The Tewksbury Teachers Association and Tewksbury School Committee met for an eighth negotiation session for the 2024-2027 school years on April 23, 2024. In December, the committee and the TTA met in a closed session to agree to rules for negotiations. For the first time, negotiations will be held in open session, and meetings will be recorded and live-streamed by Tewksbury Telemedia when staffing allows. Both sides will be able to caucus privately in executive session.
Nashua residents plan to celebrate Juneteenth and the Black community
NASHUA, NH – While the day itself dates back nearly 160 years, it was only three years ago that Juneteenth was recognized for the first time as a federal holiday. To commemorate the holiday, Nashua residents Kimberly Whittaker and Shewanda Daniels-Williams are planning a Juneteenth celebration on Wednesday, June 19 at 1 p.m. in the Soel Sistas restaurant parking lot.
Sizer senior hopes to have her own inclusive classroom
