The Birmingham Police Department has made an arrest in connection to the murder of Juanderius Woods, who was shot and killed on May 29, 2023, in the Dr. Morrell Todd Homes Housing Community. The suspect, identified as Demarco Griffin, was taken into custody without incident by the Special Enforcement Division’s Crime Reduction Team.
