New Ililani affordable condo project opens in Kakaako
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Buying a one-bedroom condo for $300,000 and a two-bedroom for under $600,000 in Kakaako is almost unheard of. But those were the prices back in 2019 for about 200 units in the Ililani condo complex — a project designed to be 60% affordable housing and give young families, kupuna and working class folks a chance to achieve home ownership.

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa placed in the top 2.5% out of more than 20,000 universities in the world, according to the Global 2000 list by the Center for World University Rankings, released on Monday.
