KIMBERLY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —The Kimberly-Hansen Police Department received a call about a kidnapping that turned out to be a scam. An unidentified person called First Federal Bank about them needing money because their child was kidnapped, and the kidnapper was asking for money. The alleged child was a middle-school juvenile.

Teenager airlifted to hospital following pickup truck crash
Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle rollover crash that occurred on May 19, 2024, at 1:36 am on 3700 N at 550 E in Twin Falls County. A 19-year-old male, from Kimberly, was traveling westbound on 3700 E in a 2003 Ford F250 where the driver left the roadway and the vehicle rolled. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported via air ambulance to the hospital. Both eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked for approximately four hours. This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
