Sea lamprey battle goes on in Conneaut Creek: NE Ohio fishing report
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Sea lampreys have devastated lake trout and salmon populations around the Great Lakes for more than a century, and are still a problem. To mitigate the damage, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service again returned to Conneaut Creek last week on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border to kill sea lamprey larvae.

PARMA, Ohio -- Thanks to the Parma City School District’s new dietetic interns, elementary students next year may come home asking their parents to pass the hummus. “We currently serve a homemade hummus at all of our secondary schools,” Parma City School District’s Farm to School Coordinator Emily Cass said.
Good News For Jameela of the Jungle
Fort Worth has a new pal, and her name is Cleveland, Ohio. That’s where our little beloved Jameela has appeared to have found a loving home. Jameela is the months-old baby gorilla born by cesarean section and left orphaned at the Fort Worth Zoo after a complicated entry into the world. However, Fredrika, or “Freddy,” at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo seems to have quickly taken to baby Jameela as her surrogate mother.
