The Park City Soccer Club is hosting tryouts for girls and boys interested in playing competitive club soccer during the 2024-25 program year. Affiliated with Utah Youth Soccer Association, PCSC offers teams for players 6-18 years of age. The program year runs June through May, with league play scheduled throughout the fall and spring months. High school age-athletes play an abbreviated annual schedule.

Miners boys lacrosse gets back on track against West High. The Miners boys lacrosse squad righted the ship last Friday against West High, winning 18-0. They had previously lost 7-3 to Olympus last Wednesday; they’re now 11-3 on their season. Sophomore Timmy Cuneo had a big game in the win, totaling six points on three goals and assists. Park City will next face Brighton Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the road. That game is their second-to-last of the regular season, which they will close out Friday when they face Corner Canyon at 7 p.m. on the road. The playoffs begin on May 14.

Miners girls lacrosse rebounds after Olympus litmus test
The Miners girls lacrosse team rebounded in a major way last Friday, after what was a disappointing litmus test last Wednesday against Olympus. Park City dropped that Olympus game for their first in-state loss this season, losing 13-8 at home. Last Friday against West High, they went off for a 27-0 win.
