WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A pause in the rain is happening now, but storm chances will be coming back as early as Friday evening and will be around into Saturday morning. There is a chance a few storms Friday night will produce some high wind gusts, but on a widespread scale, severe threat seems very low for Kansas. Much of the state will be looking at a rain chance though, which hasn’t been the case as of late.

Motorcyclist injured in west Wichita crash
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A 30-year-old man was hurt Wednesday night in a motorcycle crash in west Wichita. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash log, around 8 p.m., a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle was northbound on I-235. As he was exiting the highway to Zoo Boulevard, the motorcycle rider lost control and wrecked the bike at the bottom of the embankment.
