PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) — The Gulf Coast baseball team will not make the state tournament for the second straight year.

The Commodores needed a sweep over Pensacola State in Saturday’s doubleheaders but lost game one 10-0 in five innings.

After being ranked as the number-one team in the nation for four straight weeks, Gulf Coast ended the season on Saturday. The Commodores earned a 5-4 victory over the Pirates in the final game to finish the season 32-14.
