AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and Church raised money to help another Episcopal church and school on the High Plains.

Officials said with the damage caused by recent wildfires, St. Andrews helped raise money for St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and School in Pampa.

On Monday, the school set up dominos in a chain for every dollar raised.

“One domino’s falling can affect the next one and affect the next one, and so giving to others makes a huge domino affect and even smiling in the hall and so we talked about that domino chain being so powerful,” said Laura Gabel, director of admissions and Bronco Life.

The donation drive ran through most of April and helped raise more than $5,000.
