Lady Eagles’ season ends in loss to Weimar
Weimar’s Taylor Smith threw a five-inning no-hitter as the Lady Cats blanked Woodsboro 10-0 in a one-game Class 2A area playoff on May 2 in Palacios. Weimar scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning, two in the second, and a solo run in the third to go up 7-0.
