18-wheeler and truck collision leaves one dead
A two-vehicle collision between a 18-wheeler and a white truck in Point Comfort outside of Formosa left one dead Tuesday morning. The Point Comfort Volunteer Fire Department (PCVFD) was dispatched to the scene of the head-on collision at 3:09 a.m., according to Point Comfort Volunteer Fire Chief Joshua Grissom The driver of the white truck was declared dead on scene, while the driver of the 18-wheeler self-extricated himself from his vehicle.
