Turner Turnpike travelers will be detoured onto Route 66 this weekend during construction
Westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike, along with the Stroud Service Plaza, will be closed between State Highway 99 and the service plaza Friday night. Construction crews will be installing bridge beams between 9 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday as they rebuild the Old Stroud Bridge Road crossing over the turnpike. Drivers will be detoured at the SH 99 exit to Stroud to westbound State Highway 66 to northbound State Highway 18 and back to westbound Interstate 44/Turner Turnpike at Chandler.
