Ozona—Ozona Middle School’s (OMS) Texas Math Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) students won third place at the State 2024 TMSCA Meet hosted on the UT-San Antonio campus. The Mathematics Team placed first, the Number Sense Team placed second, the Calculator Applications Team placed fifth and the Science Team placed sixth. Strong winds are forecasted with speeds ranging from 20 to 25 mph, accompanied by gusts up to 40 mph. In addition, scattered thunderstorms are expected this morning in the Big Country and northern Heartland regions, posing a risk of dangerous lightning.
