Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday in April, but at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, the celebration continues all weekend.

This is the 38th year Planting Fields is hosting an Arbor Day weekend festival, but it's the first time since 2019 because of the pandemic and adverse weather.

Activities include nature crafts, a tree planting ceremony with Smokey the Bear, a dahlia sale, seedling giveaways, a bouncy slide and food trucks.

Tickets are available online or onsite for $25 per car. It continues Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
