A Howard County Public Schools bus crashed into a wooded area Wednesday morning in Owings Mills, according to police.

A Baltimore County Police spokesperson said Wednesday that there were no serious injuries after the crash at about 8:20 a.m. near the Under Armour Performance Center, the Ravens’ training facility. The bus went off Deer Park Road near Winning Drive and traveled into the woods, police said.

Police on the scene initially said a driver suffered minor injuries and nobody else was on board the bus. A police spokesperson later said the bus was transporting private school students but did not immediately say if anyone had been hospitalized for minor injuries.

A HCPS spokesperson said that the bus was serviced by a contractor, Baruch Transportation, and was transporting students from Howard County to The Harbour School, a private placement school in Owings Mills for students with disabilities.
