Howard County bridge to close after Memorial Day
A project to replace part of the Howard County Route P bridge near New Franklin is scheduled to begin immediately after Memorial Day. Route P is expected to close at the bridge on Tuesday, May 28, and remain closed through the end of August. The bridge will remain closed around-the-clock daily. During the closure, vehicles will need to use an alternate route.

Pedaler's Jamboree kicks off day one of a 15-year tradition
Saturday morning kicked off one of Mid-Missouri's most anticipated events - the Pedaler's Jamboree. The Pedaler's Jamboree, or PedJam, is a bike and music festival hosted through Off Track Events every Memorial Day weekend for the last 15 years. It includes a scenic bike ride that starts in Columbia, tours the Katy Trail and ends Boonville with lots of stops for food and entertainment along the way.
