The Deck sets opening day for 2024 season
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A summer favorite is set to return in just over a week, marking the beginning of downtown Fort Wayne’s summer fun. Saturday a source at the Deck, a part of Don Hall’s restaurants, confirmed that they will be opening for their 2024 season May 14, with weather permitting.
LOOK: Semi truck catches fire on Lower Huntington Road
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A semi-truck caught fire on Lower Huntington Road Friday evening. Dispatch confirmed with WANE 15 that the Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) responded to a fire on the Lower Huntington Road bridge just west of Fairfield Ave and Tillman Road. In the video and photos, you can see heavy fire and smoke pouring from the semi.
Science Sunday: Experimenting with dandelions

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - It will be a mainly dry weekend with some hit-or-miss showers and storms possible. Temperatures stay in the 70s for both days. Mild air stays in place for Saturday morning with temperatures mostly in the 50s and lower 60s. As we progress into the afternoon, highs will rise into the mid 70s. Skies stay partly cloudy today with a brief shower or pop-up storm possible, but they should not ruin Saturday plans. Sunday should see a mix of clouds and sunshine with a slight chance for a shower in the morning, but much of the afternoon should be dry.
