Here's what to expect at the second Light the Night Market
APPLETON - The Light the Night Market presented by Fox Communities Credit Union is returning a second year after its successful debut in May 2023. The event will take place on three seperate days, May 17, July 19 and a holiday edition on November 16 according to Appleton Downtown, Inc. (ADI). It spans College Avenue between Superior Street and Durkee Street. From 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. locals can attend a free, open market where they can enjoy food, drink, live performances and more.

Mitch Lundgaard’s widow reflects on the 5-year anniversary of his death
APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Five years ago, a hero fell in the line of duty. On the anniversary of that tragedy, we remember Mitch Lundgaard. In 2019, the 36-year-old responded to a medical call at the Valley Transit Center. He helped administer Narcan to a man suffering an overdose. That man then turned his gun on first responders.
