Here are the High School Field Hockey Scores for games played and reported throughout the State of Maine on Thursday, September 28th. You can nominate a Maine High School Athlete for their accomplishments during the week September 25-30 HERE by Sunday, October 1st. We will then put together the list, on Monday, and then you'll then be able to vote on the nominees October 2 - 5 (11:59 p.m.) with the Fall Week 5 Winner being announced on Friday, October 6th. You can vote ONCE per day, per device. Please let us know in the email why you are nominating someone. Try to be specific with goals, yardage, times etc..

Dexter Wins PVC Class C Golf Championships, Orono Runner-ups
The PVC Class C Golf Championships were held on Thursday, September 28th. Congratulations to the Dexter High School Golf Team which won the Championships. Dexter, Orono, Mattanawcook Academy, Machias and Narraguagus all qualified for the State Class C Golf Championships which will be held at Natanis Golf Course on October 7th.
Stony Brook football squares off with another winless foe
Still winless, the Stony Brook football team will look to find its first triumph of the season in a similar fashion to last year. The Seawolves (0-4, 0-3 CAA) squandered their best opportunity to win a game this season last Saturday at home in a 20-19 defeat to the Richmond Spiders. This Saturday, they will head up to Orono, Maine to take on the Maine Black Bears (0-4, 0-2 CAA) at 3:30 p.m. The last time the two teams met up was Oct. 22, 2022, and Stony Brook pulled off a big rally to earn its first victory of the season on its homecoming.
