Man gets more than a decade for meth distribution charge
LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) - A California man learned his sentenced Thursday for a drug charge that stemmed from a traffic violation in York County, Nebraska. U.S. Attorney Steven Russell said 48-year-old Jason Smith, of Victorville, California, received a prison term of 11 years following his conviction for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. After he completes his prison sentence, Smith will also serve five years on supervised release.
