Ugolini died Tuesday evening, May 28. The 19-year department veteran, who was promoted to lieutenant six years ago this month, worked in the city's North District. Beginning on Saturday, the city of Passaic intends to crack down on unlicensed street vendors, which city officials say becomes increasingly problematic as the weather turns warm and days longer. Ridgewood Water will be doing road work, which could lead to traffic delays. The maintenance, a water main replacement project, taking place on East Ridgewood Avenue between Southern Parkway and Heerman Place, is expected to take up to two weeks. The Village of Ridgewood and Ridgewood Water both advise residents to expect delays and plan accordingly.
