Severe T-Storm Warning North Fentress Co
A severe t-storm warning has been issued for those of you in the city of Jamestown and points north (northern half of Fentress Co) until 12:45. Doppler has shown winds of 60 mph with these storms that are moving in. You all have received a lot of rain today and in recent days, saturated soils could cause trees to fall more easily.

Summer pool season begins Friday
The 2024 summer pool season will kick off this weekend. The Bandy Creek Pool in the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area will open Friday (May 24) at 11 a.m. The pool is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as federal holidays — which include Memorial Day, Juneteenth and the 4th of July.
Blevins named head soccer coach at Oneida
ONEIDA | David Blevins has been named the new men’s soccer coach at Oneida High School, Director of Schools Dr. Jeanny Phillips announced Wednesday. Blevins will pull double-duty; he is also the new head coach of the Oneida women’s soccer team. He was named to that post last month.
