Final Results from the Girl’s Rolling Valley Conference Golf Tournament
(Carroll, IA) – At the Carroll National Course on Monday, the Boyer Valley Bulldogs were able to take a two team race victory with a total of 459 overall. Glidden-Ralston was the only other team that qualified for a team score of 495. The top medalist on the day was Addy Boell for Glidden-Ralston who shot an 88 while Reese Miller was able to earn a 100 on the course for Boyer Valley as the runner-up. Woodbine’s Charlie Pryor came in third with 103, Jersey Gray for Woodbine eared fourth with 110, and Boyer Valley’s Hayley Follmann shot 117. Zoey Soma of Boyer Valley shot a 120 while CAM’s Jenna Platt shot a 121 in seventh. You can find all the results below.

Gov. Reynolds Issues Disaster Proclamation for Eight Additional Counties Impacted by Recent Severe Weather
(Des Moines) Monday, Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation for eight additional counties in response to severe weather that occurred on April 26. The governor’s proclamation allows state resources to be utilized to respond to and recover from the effects of this severe weather and activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program for the following counties: Clarke, Crawford, Harrison, Mills, Polk, Ringgold, Shelby, and Union. A disaster proclamation was previously issued for Pottawattamie County on April 26.
