Plainview police locate missing woman unharmed
Plainview authorities say a woman who was reported missing Thursday was located safe. Oveta Chambliss, 81, was seen at her Plainview home around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, but a relative reported she was not home and had not returned by Thursday morning, police said. After seeking help from the public Thursday, patrol officers with the Plainview Police Department found Chambliss unharmed in her car. She was escorted home by a relative.
