ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A 23-year-old man was sentenced on Friday to 50 years in prison for a shooting almost two years ago in the Academy neighborhood. St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Noble sentenced Desmond Harris to a five-decade term following his guilty plea in February to counts of first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A third suspect was charged Thursday in the February fatal shooting of local musician and emcee Anthony Jefferson, aka Ant Gee. St. Louis Police described the shooting in charging documents as a “planned and targeted sniper-style attack.” Jefferson was fatally shot on Feb. 2 outside of H2 Bar and Grill, located in the 4700 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
