Chick & Tender to replace both PDQs on Long Island
PDQ has officially flown the coop. The Florida-based fast-casual chicken chain is pulling out of Long Island entirely. The brand, known for its fresh chicken tenders, sandwiches, salads, and shakes, once had two locations on Long Island. The Westbury restaurant at 1236 Old Country Road quietly converted into a new concept called Chick & Tender, and Greater Long Island has learned that the Farmingdale spot at 1004 Broadhollow Road will follow suit next week.
