Bona Women's Basketball Team Lands Another Commit
ST. BONAVENTURE, NY — The St. Bonaventure women’s basketball program has signed 6-foot-2-inch forward Mya Davidson. Davidson, who is from Machesney Park, Illinois, has two years of eligibility remaining.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER She began her collegiate career at Lindenwood, where she appeared in 12 games before transferring to Three Rivers Community College this past year. While at Three Rivers Community College, Davidson appeared in 33 games, including 20 starts. In those games, she shot 50% from the floor and averaged 6.5 points while grabbing 3.6 rebounds. In her time at Three Rivers, Davidson helped the Lady Raiders to an overall record of 29-5, including a Region 16 championship and an appearance in the NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship quarterfinals. Ski resort invests $2.5M to bolster four-season business
ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. — Holiday Valley Resort is investing another $2.5 million into its Ellicottville campus in a bid to increase year-round business opportunity. The company detailed its plans in an application to the Cattaraugus County Industrial Development Agency for sales tax abatement for upgrades and improvements throughout the resort, including some aimed at increasing efficiencies and technology.
Softball Recap: Otto-Eldred wins going away against Galeton
After only one run in their last matchup, Otto-Eldred made sure to put some runs up on the board against Galeton on Friday. The Otto-Eldred Terrors put the hurt on the Galeton Tigers with a sharp 16-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Otto-Eldred also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

OLEAN, NY — Orders for Wednesday's fish and chips meals offered by the Olean Elks need to be placed by 7 p.m. Tuesday by calling 716-372-4191. Patrons may choose beer-battered, breaded or broiled (Cajun or lemon pepper) fish fry.
