GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX)— Afternoon highs are expected to continue to be in the upper 70’s and 80’s in Grand Junction all week and into the weekend with Montrose being just a few degrees cooler. There is a slight chance for showers in the valleys on Tuesday and Wednesday, but most of the moisture will be focused in the high country. Delta County teen recovering from gunshot wound to the head
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — A 15-year-old from Orchard City has an uphill battle to recover from a gunshot wound to the head on May 3. The teen was with a group of other young people on the 1400 block of U.S. 50 in Delta when he was shot in the head by a .40 caliber handgun. The Delta Police Department recovered the handgun, a magazine and a casing from the scene.
