WATCH: Man steal Ring doorbell directly off house

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KMID/KPEJ) – A mother of four is now looking over her shoulder and through her new camera, after a man stole her Ring doorbell right off her home.

Monday morning, Jessica Carter and her four young daughters were leaving her home when a mysterious visitor appeared minutes later.

Carter said she didn’t have the correct screws, so the doorbell was Velcroed to the wall.

“He knocked and then tried to open it to see if he can come in or see if it was unlocked or something,” said Carter.

Carter was at work and unable to look at her notifications, but when she finally did, she didn’t recognize him. She immediately called Oklahoma City Police.

Police said the suspect could face larceny misdemeanor charges, but that’s ultimately up to the District Attorney.
