Carter’s grandson, Jason Carter, said the nation’s 39th president cast a mail-in ballot this week for the May 21 Georgia primary, emphasizing his grandfather is not going to miss an election.

PERRY, Ga. (WGXA) -- A Sheep and Swine Barn and Arena will be built at the Georgia National Fairground in Perry. The Georgia National Fair Association made the announcement on Friday. It has officially secured for the construction of the Georgia National Fairgrounds’ Sheep and Swine Barn and Arena as Governor Kemp signed the 2025 state budget Tuesday morning. $21,540,000 was allocated to the Agricenter for the design and development of the barn and arena that will assist with the growing demand for livestock stalls.
