She stars in the hit CBS police drama-comedy Elsbeth, but the singalong in the 1997 blockbuster My Best Friend's Wedding is what turned Carrie Preston into a Gen X icon. "It was definitely back in the days where romantic comedy was queen of Hollywood," she told GPB of the beloved movie starring her fellow Georgian Julia Roberts. "I felt very fortunate to make my big screen debut working on a film that had that far of a reach."
