Two years ago, residents of the Village of Sunset Pointe neighborhood were promised an “expedited” remedy...
The sky’s the limit
As one Ocala woman plummeted toward the earth for the 78th time in 24 hours, she broke the Florida state record for most skydives in a single day. Skydiving enthusiast Shyenne Bryant is not your average skydiver—apart from setting this impressive record, she’s also afraid of heights. Just over a year ago, Bryant turned to Central Florida Skydiving to fuel her adrenaline-seeking personality and get over her fear of heights in a sky-high way.

Golfers deserve six months credit for playing on substandard courses
I think it would help if we golfers could know what companies are handling which championship courses. I played Cane GARDEN and Mallory Hills last week and found them both in good or better condition. Lopez, Glenview, Hacienda, Bonifay and Belle Glade also in good or better condition for this time of year. Congratulations and Thank you to these superintendents! Havana has been closed for six weeks and little was done to repair these greens other than to rest them, I hope it works.

They are ruining the reasons people have chosen The Villages
The biggest problem is we add residents and not enough golf courses. We moved here 10 years ago. When the snowbirds were here the population was 50,000 to 60,000, with all the golf courses on the north side of State Road 44. Now that The Villages has added 100,000 more in population, but not enough golf courses, it is ruining the reasons people have chosen The Villages. The solution to the golf course problem is stop building more homes and build more golf courses.
