MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man convicted of participating in an interstate drug ring has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Lance Michael McGee, 32, had pleaded guilty — in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis — conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver controlled substances. NEW CASTLE, Ind. — A New Castle hair stylist reportedly made a bad situation worse with a suggestion she allegedly made to a Henry County sheriff's deputy. Angela Dawn Showalter, 49, was in the process of being arrested for driving while intoxicated on May 9 when she allegedly told the deputy that if he did not take her into custody, she would provide him with "free haircuts for life," according to a court document.
