Report: French conversation club very different than French conversion club
Mere two-letter difference poses a devious snare for those in recovery. Students at the University of Tulsa with the desire to learn new languages have many resources, including standalone classes, full academic programs, attending speaking clubs and joining one of many conversation groups. Carl Albert football breaks Bixby's 11-man Oklahoma winning streak record
Winning is nothing new for the Carl Albert (OK) Titans. They've won more state championships than any other team in Oklahoma's history (20), including four straight. On Friday night, Oct. 2, they added another accomplishment to the program's illustrious history. With a 41-6 win over Noble (OK), the Titans now own the state's longest active win streak of 59 games in a row. They snapped Bixby's streak of 58 that went from 2018-2022. Carl Albert's current streak began with a 45-2 win over Elk City (OK) on September 16, 2022. The Titans started the 2022 season 1-2 and their last loss came to Muskogee (OK) by a score of 35-28. What followed that Muskogee loss was 11 consecutive wins to close out the 2022 season and the program's 16th state championship. They followed up that season with three straight seasons where they finished 14-0 and claimed three more state championships. The streak has been threatened at times, particularly this season.
