Motorcycle rider dies after accident
A Blue Eye woman died after a motorcycle accident on Thursday, May 9, on Arkansas Highway 23 near Eureka Springs. According to a report written by Arkansas State Police Trooper Brandon Warren, Nicole M. Decker, 42, of Blue Eye was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson southbound on Arkansas 23 at 4:03 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve at Carroll County Road 266. The motorcycle traveled across County Road 266 and off the right side of the road. The center of the motorcycle struck a tree and the motorcycle came to rest.
