City of Yucaipa faces a $7.3 million budget deficit
At the May 13 Yucaipa City Council meeting, Phil White, Director of Finance, gave a presentation about the proposed budget for the City of Yucaipa. The presentation revealed that the city budget has a deficit of 7.3 million. As of now, the city is not planning to cut any services for its budget for the next fiscal year. However, White said that the current model is unsustainable, and the city is coming up on a time when significant changes will need to be made.
