Resilient Mountain Lion Returns to Wilds of Central California After Remarkable Recovery
After a challenging two-month recovery, a mountain lion has been restored to the wilds of Central California. The San Diego Humane Society's Ramona Wildlife Center, in collaboration with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), successfully rehabilitated the adult male who suffered from severe injuries. According to a statement on the society's Facebook page, the feline had been found debilitated, likely from a vehicle collision.

TRACK AND FIELD 27 athletes from MVT schools qualify for Section Masters meet
KINGSBURG – A total of 27 track and field athletes from Mid Valley Times region schools have qualified for the upcoming Central Section CIF Masters Meet in Clovis. That number includes champions in 11 individual or relay events from four section divisional meets contested on May 10 at four separate sites. Leading the way are individual multiple winners Julian Ramirez (Division II boys shot put, discus) and Avril Mendoza (D-II girls 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles) from Dinuba High along with Immanuel’s Alexandra (Lexi) Schartmann (D-IV girls 200, 400 and anchor 4×800 relay).
