High School Senior Has Graduation Ceremony at Hospital
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of completing a giant milestone, and graduating high school definitely belongs on that list. The cheers, the gowns, and sounds of Pomp and Circumstance all mark an occasion that sets most of us on our life’s journey. But for one North Texas teen, this auspicious occasion seemed like one she would have to sit out due to her current battle with cancer. The fact of the matter was that 19-year-old Kaley Banuelos would be undergoing chemo treatment on the same date as her high school graduation. This scenario left Banuelos with little choice in the matter, given the seriousness of her illness.
