    Milestones and OT winners: Vote for the High School Girls Lacrosse Player of the Week

    Algonquin Regional's Bella Roman and Grace Chiota have been voted the High School Girls Lacrosse Players of the Week .

    The duo combined to receive over 12,000 votes. Roman scored 9 goals, including the winner with 46 seconds remaining in a 15-14 win over Hopkinton. Chiota had 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists). In an 11-10 win over North Middlesex, Chiota had 6 goals and 2 assists. She scored the winning goal and notched her 100th career point. Roman chipped in 4 goals and 2 assists.

    And this week's candidates are...

    Adelynne Czaja + Kheiara Vilus, Southeastern: Czaja and Vilus each scored 6 goals in a 20-6 win over Bristol Aggie.

    Madeline Packard + Grace Maroney, Hingham: Packard scored her 100th career goal and Maroney notched her 100th career poitn in a win over Plymouth North.

    Avery Valicenti + Clare O'Keefe + Caroline Batchelder, Archbishop Williams: The trio combined for 30 points in 22-12 win over Cardinal Spellman. Valicenti had 6 goals and 3 assists, O'Keefe scored 5 goals and 5 assists and Batchelder had 4 goals and 7 assists.

    Ayla McDermod, Sr., Hanover: McDermod scored 9 goals in a 17-6 win over Marshfield.

    Ainsley Yates, Soph., Bridgewater-Raynham: Yates made 11 saves in a 14-5 win over Silver Lake.

    Megan Doyle, Sr., Weymouth: Doyle scored 8 points, including the 300th goal of her career, in an 11-8 win over Franklin. She scored her 400th career point in a win over Milton. She also had 10 points and 10 draw controls in a 15-13 win over Natick.

    Laney Larsen, Sr., Cohasset: Larsen scored 6 goals and had 4 assists in a win over Mashpee.

    Ava MacDonald, Sr., Braintree: MacDonald had 5 goals and 4 assists in a 14-10 win over Mansfield.

    Mariah Strong + Ava Smith + Elle Murphy, Cardinal Spellman: Strong made 6 saves in her first full varsity game in goal in an 11-4 win over East Bridgewater. Murphy scored 7 times. In an 8-4 win over Fontbonne Academy, Smith stopped 10 shots and Murphy had 6 points (5 goals, assist).

    Charlise Cox, Jr., Norwell: Cox had 3 goals and 3 assists in a win over Middleboro. She scored 7 goals in a 10-9 overtime loss to Duxbury.

    Olivia O'Rourke, Sr., Oliver Ames: O'Rourke scored an overtime winner in a 17-16 victory over Ursuline Academy.

    Mackenzie Kingston, Soph., Duxbury: Kingston scored an overtime winner in a 10-9 win over Norwell.

    Peyton Mathisen, Sr., South Shore Tech: Mathisen scored 8 goals in a 19-5 win over Bristol Aggie.

    Lila Leander, Fr., Rockland: Leander's second goal of the day was an overtime winner in a 6-5 victory over East Bridgewater.

    Tara Battagliano, Soph., Wellesley: Battagliano poured in seven goals for the Raiders in a 16-4 win over Brookline.

    Gabi Consigli, Jr., Franklin: Consigli ended a double-overtime thriller with her third goal of the contest in a 5-4 victory over King Philip.

    Ella Hobin, Jr., Marlborough: Hobin fired in five goals and won six draw controls for the Panthers in a loss to Littleton.

    Liz Lange, Sr., Nipmuc: Lange scored four goals for the Warriors in an 18-5 win over Northbridge and another four goals and four assists in a 20-6 victory over Tantasqua.

    Anna Magennis, Sr., + Paige Tripp, Jr., Ashland: The UConn pledge Magennis poured in nine goals in a 17-6 win over Dover-Sherborn on Friday, while Tripp accumulated six points with two goals and four assists, including her 100th career point. In an 18-9 win over Medway, Magennis put away six goals with two assists.

    Lucie Mato, Fr., Hopkinton: Mato fired in five goals in a 16-8 win over Bellingham.

    Emma O’Malley, AMSA: O'Malley connected for four goals in a 12-11 win over Notre Dame (Worcester) and tallied four goals in a 19-7 victory over Hudson.

    Bella Roman, Sr., Algonquin: Roman’s sixth goal of the game came in overtime as the Titans took down Dover-Sherborn, 12-11, on Saturday. Roman also notched her 100th career point on her first goal of the game in the first quarter. In a 14-11 win over Wachusett, Roman found the net seven times with an assist. In a 17-14 loss to Nashoba, Roman fired in six goals.

    Kate Sams, Sr., Westborough: Sams poured in four goals with two assists for the Rangers in a 17-4 win over North Middlesex. She also scored five goals in a 12-7 victory over Groton-Dunstable.

    Layne Thomason, Jr., Hudson: Thomason had five goals and an assist in a 12-2 victory over Fitchburg.
