A restaurant in the Pittsburgh area has been ordered closed due to multiple violations after an inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department. Inspectors found 16 violations during an inspection of El Paisano & BBQ Stand in Beechview.

Former WPXI reporter Dee Thompson dies at 84
Retired WPXI reporter DeHaven “Dee” Thompson died May 9 at age 84. Thompson worked at Channel 11 from 1974 until his retirement in 2009. WPXI meteorologist Scott Harbaugh posted a tribute on Facebook, writing, “ ‘Dee’ was one of the kindest people you would ever want to meet. … Always a smile, a kind word, a quick wit, Mr. Thompson is [a] broadcast legend in Pittsburgh. My prayers are with his family at this time. What a wonderful human being.”

She can be a little on the shyer side, but once she’s comfortable, she’s bound to want love and affection. Milky Way is unfortunately unable to live with other rabbit friends but is more than enough to be the center of attention by herself.
Stuntpig parks food truck for permanent shop in Squirrel Hill
Stuntpig has announced it is trading in its food truck wheels for a more permanent location — a sandwich shop in Squirrel Hill. The announcement came this week on the food truck’s social media pages, eliciting many reactions from excited Pittsburghers. The shop will be located at the former Bull River Taco location, 1707 Murray Ave., near the intersection with Forbes.
