Earthquake hits Adirondack Mountains in New York
A 2.1-magnitude earthquake shook the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York the morning of May 21, according to the United States Geological Survey. The mild quake hit at 10:23 a.m. and was located roughly 7 miles east southeast of the Essex County hamlet of Elizabethtown.
