Thunderdogs: No. 7 Rocklin knocks off No. 1 Tracy for D2 title
The road to the Division II Sac-Joaquin Section title wasn’t an easy one for Rocklin High School. The Thunder finished the regular season with an 11-15 record and drew the seventh seed in the section playoffs. Rocklin managed to win road games over No. 2 Bella Vista and No. 3 Elk Grove and found itself deadlocked in an extra innings battle against No. 1 Tracy Saturday at Sacramento State for the D-II championship.

Mayweather Boxing + Fitness locations closing in Sacramento, Elk Grove
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two Mayweather Boxing + Fitness locations at Sacramento area shopping centers recently closed, according to court documents. Two of the best teams in the area and two rivals in the Sierra Foothill League battled for a Sac-Joaquin Section Division I championship on Saturday at Sacramento State.
