17-year-old charged in North Haven gas station robbery

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A 17-year-old accused of robbing a gas station Sunday has been tied to multiple robberies in two states, according to North Haven Police.

The juvenile suspect from Marlborough, Massachusetts was arrested Friday for their alleged involvement in a robbery of a gas station on Washington Avenue on Jan. 14.

They were charged with Robbery in the First Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First degree, and Larceny 6th.

According to police, the juvenile was found to also be connected to multiple robberies with a firearm across Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Police said the suspect was located in Massachusetts and charged as a Fugitive from Justice before waiving extradition and being transported to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center, where they were served arrest warrants from multiple jurisdictions.

The suspect is being held at the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center and was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, April 19.
