Chicago weather: Storms move in Monday afternoon bringing heavy rain, hail
UPDATE: A Flash Flood Warning was issued for parts of Lake County on Monday. "FLASH FLOOD WARNING for north central LAKE COUNTY(IL) until 9 PM. Nearly stationary thunderstorms have rapidly produced up to 2" of rainfall. Rain rates up to 1" per 15 minutes are ongoing. The most likely areas for rapid-onset flooding include Round Lake Beach, Grayslake, Gurnee, Lake Villa," Chief Meteorologist Emily Wahls posted on Facebook.
Cook County man faces gun, drug-related charges following high-speed crash in Palatine
PALATINE - A suburban man was arrested for gun and drug-related charges following a crash in Palatine last Thursday. Darius Redmond, 22, of Palatine, was traveling as a passenger in a black SUV on May 9 at 10:30 a.m. when the driver of the vehicle led police on a high-speed chase before crashing into other cars.

Waukegan man charged with selling fentanyl, meth, heroin, cocaine: Lake County officials
WAUKEGAN, Ill. - A month-long investigation led to 17 felony drug charges against a Waukegan man accused of selling fentanyl, meth and heroin in the northern suburb. Several law enforcement agencies received tips that 32-year-old Travier L. Bunch was selling drugs in unincorporated Waukegan. Bunch allegedly sold drugs to undercover detectives from the Lake County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Group.
