GENESEE COUNTY, MI – Who stole the doughnuts from a school safety meeting at Flint Powers? Next month, you can help find out – and raise money for a good cause. The Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County “WhoDonut” fundraiser takes place from 5-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at Powers Catholic High School, 1505 W. Court St. in Flint. Money goes toward Crime Stoppers in its effort to provide anonymous tipster services for people in the Genesee County area.
Vassar Motorcyclist Dead, Female Passenger Injured in Tuscola County Collision with SUV
A tragic accident on the evening of May 23 left a Vassar man dead and a woman severely injured after their motorcycle was struck by an SUV in Tuscola County. According to WJRT, the 33-year-old male motorcyclist and his 29-year-old female passenger were riding on Frankenmuth Road around 9:30 P.M. when a GMC Terrain, driven by a 23-year-old woman from Flint, collided with their motorcycle.
