A Little Too Much boutique opens in Cullman
CULLMAN, Ala. – A new, locally owned boutique opened its doors to the community on Oct. 1, featuring colorful pieces, vintage items and more. A Little Too Much, located in the Warehouse District, is owned by Bailey Frost. “The goal with our store is to encourage women to showcase who they are through their wardrobes and homes,” Frost said. “I encourage our clients to take risks and step out of their comfort zones.” The boutique has a blend and new and vintage decor and clothing items, which means there could be something for everyone, she said. “We have colorful boutique clothing, unique vintage finds and handmade items (pillows, purses, bandanas, jewelry). Hopefully people feel emboldened to showcase who they really are, enjoy listening to whatever is on the record player and leave having a better day than when they came in.” The vision for the store came to Frost, she said, after joining many events and shows and seeing the products sell well. “I’ve done a lot of antique/vintage shows and festivals,” she explained. “I have always dreamed of having a storefront to display my finds and show my creativity through merchandising. We will have new inventory each week. Currently

CULLMAN, Ala. – America’s Thrift Stores plans to open its new Cullman location in November and is recruiting employees ahead of the opening, according to the company’s website and job postings. The store will be located at 1721 Second Ave. SW, Suite 1. The company’s Cullman webpage announces a November opening but does not provide a specific day. America’s Thrift has advertised retail and merchandise-processing positions for the Cullman store, including full-time and part-time retail shifts. Processing employees help prepare donated merchandise for sale, with duties including inspecting, sorting, cleaning and pricing items. The company’s recruitment materials began identifying the new Cullman store before the November opening window was announced. A processing team posting dated Sept. 3 invited applications for the new location, with additional processing and retail listings appearing in late September and early October. America’s Thrift sells secondhand clothing and household goods. Its stores organize clothing by category and size, and the company says employees add merchandise to the sales floor daily.
