If you grew up in Norfolk, Virginia in the 70s or even 80s, you would be familiar with the tale of the infamously spectacular destruction of Ocean View Amusement Park. Many local residents grew up with the park as a popular seaside attraction. Originally built at the turn of the 20th century and changing hands a few times in its history, the park bounced back from hurricanes and other challenges over the years.

Two Separate Crashes Caused by 18-Year-Old Driver, Charges Pending. An 18-year-old driver is currently facing charges after causing two separate accidents on I-64 in Hampton on Tuesday, March 28th. According to WAVY News 10, the driver was in the left lane heading toward a lane closure and failed to move over. The driver then struck a semi-truck causing it to flip. The accident blocked several lanes, which in turn, caused a second crash.

Grace Sherwood, also known as the Witch of Pungo, was accused of killing livestock, bewitching married men and transforming them into animals. Grace denied being a witch, but there was pretty much no way a woman at the time could prove otherwise. Her community thought they could make the final determination through an act known as “ducking”, which would kill most women who had gone through the ritual before. But by some miracle, Grace survived, which should have proved to everyone that she wasn’t a witch after all. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be so simple.

A Virginia Beach teen is recovering after a terrifying pit bull attack in his neighborhood. The 14-year-old was walking to pick his siblings up from a nearby bus stop when a loose dog mauled him. Thankfully, neighbors were quick to intervene. They used a pole to separate the dog from the boy before attempting to put the pit bull in a headlock. Authorities arrived on site soon after. As police attended to the victim, the dog became aggressive with officers. Police shot and killed the pit bull.

Keir had taken a week off from work and the two planned to meet up with friends. The pair left the house in the 1900 block of Hastings Drive in Hampton, Virginia. They waited, but Keir and Chloe never showed up at the beach, The Charley Project reports.
