The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News:. Nicholas Debrun, 14, of Morrisonville was traveling west on Christian County Highway 10 in a homemade go-cart approximately .1 mile west of Morrisonville. Nicholas lost control of the go-cart and skidded sideways into the opposite lane. Nicole Schmedeke, 32, of Morrisonville was driving a Ford Edge and traveling east and collided with Nicholas Debrun’s go-cart when it entered into Nicole Schmedeke’s lane. The collision caused Nicholas Debrun and the go-cart to be thrown into a ditch on the south side of the road.
